On five acres tucked away in the Arkansas hills, we’re building more than fences, gardens, and coops—we’re building a place of belonging. What we call our FUNstead now includes chickens scratching in the yard, flowerbeds and hopefully a flower garden blooming by the porch, an herb garden, a vegetable garden and plenty of space for children to run, dream and play. It has grown into a home where children and youth in foster care can feel safe, loved, and seen.
Our mission is to walk alongside others who love Jesus, cherish family, and share a passion for creating spaces of healing. The daily rhythms of gathering eggs, pulling weeds, and watching flowers open remind us of the beauty that comes when care, patience, and love are sown into the soil of life.
Our property is more than just land—it’s a picture of hope. A reminder that with faith, hard work, and community, broken stories can be rewritten and lives can flourish. Rooted in faith and growing in love, our FUNstead is where life, chickens, flowers, foster care, and forever all come together.
