Who We Are

Our Story

We are the Tuckers.
Our fostering journey began on June 18, 2021, and it has been a beautiful, stretching, and sacred experience. Most of our placements have been sibling sets, and we’re currently fostering our fourth sibling group—a set of three siblings. Along the way, we’ve also had the privilege of caring for two individual boys at different times.

Fostering has taught us about resilience, unconditional love, and the power of presence. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Some days are full of laughter. Others are full of tears. But every single day is filled with purpose.
We may not share the same last name, but for this season—however long or short—we get to share love, safety, and family.
And that changes all of us, forever.

about Kristen

Kristen N. Tucker is the heart of our home and the steady presence that holds our family together. She is a beautiful example of God’s redemption and restoration, living proof that grace can rewrite any story.

Before stepping into the world of foster care, Kristen served as a staff writer for the largest church in America and worked for two members of Congress. Today, she continues her mission of service as the County Coordinator for The CALL in Van Buren & Searcy Counties, where she helps equip churches and families to care for children in foster care.

Kristen brings beauty to broken places and hope to the hard moments. Our story wouldn’t be what it is without her heart at the center of it..
